How It All Began!

Born in 1956, on the day that the Queen of England visited Enugu State, the school proprietrresswas given the name Queen. At age nine, she was fond of gathering kids who were younger than she was to teach them, a scenario the mum was at variance with. In process of time, Lady Queen trained as a teacher and had opportunities to teach in a couple of government-owned schools before eventually venturing in the pursuit of her purpose.
Queen’s Model Nursary and Primary School was founded at the passage of 13 Kano Street at Coal Camp with just 3 pupils.
Mummy Queen was renowned for being continually found moving about with the pupils from the institution.
The Secondary Campus was established in 1994.

“Mummy Queen was renowned for being continually found moving about with the pupils from the institution.”

Queen’s Model as an institution built on purpose has, for long, operated with the philosophy of making quality education affordable to deserving individuals irrespective of their socio-economic class
